We follow manufacturers installation requirements and NFPA 211 Standards for every installation. When changing "an appliance", the NFPA states that a level 2 chimney inspection shall be performed in order to assess the chimneys suitability for replacement of a stove or fireplace. We will also suggest a chimney cleaning to get a better look at the inside of your chimney. Scheduling an appointment for us to inspect your fireplace or wood stove prior to your remodel may just save you time and money.
